Visit Two Yarra Valley Wineries/Cellar Doors

You’ll delight in the complexities of wines from the Yarra Valley, a cool climate wine region, as you indulge and sample wines at two wineries / cellar doors. Enjoy an informal wine tasting at a picturesque, boutique winery followed by a guided wine tasting at a leading, historic winery of the region. Wineries we like to visit include Yering Farm Wines, Billanook Estate, Yering Station and Baglownie Estate.

Note 1: All wine tasting fees are included in the tour price.

Note 2: Winery selection on our half day tours from Melbourne may change or vary without notice on occasion e.g. if any of these wineries are not available due to private functions or events. An alternative similar winery will be arranged.

Four Pillars Distillery Visit

The adventure doesn’t end there! After our wine tastings we will venture into the world of craft gin with a visit and tasting at the award winning Four Pillars Distillery in Healesville.

Here you’ll discover the process master distillers follow to make great gin and the art of maximising purity of the spirit and maximum flavours with local and globally sourced botanicals.

At Four Pillars you’ll enjoy a Four Pillars Gin mini-gin and tonic tasting paddle.

We offer a complimentary pickup and drop off in Melbourne CBD beside Federation Square at the Federation Square Bus & Coach Pick Up Zone.

Is lunch included on the half day tour?

No, our half day wine tour does not include lunch, so please ensure you have a filling brunch or early lunch before you join the tour.

Which three wineries will we visit?

We select three of the best wineries/cellar doors in the Yarra Valley which will give you a great overview of the valley. Our half day afternoon wine tours typically visit Coombe Melba Estate, Balgownie Estate and Steels Gate Wines, followed by the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie. On the rare occasion a particular winery is closed for a private event or cannot accommodate us, we will find an equally suitable alternative winery.

How many people can book?

You can book our half day Yarra Valley tours from Melbourne for just one person, or up to 10 people.

For a group of more than 10, we suggest choosing a private tour instead where we can customise a private wine tasting tour to suit up to 19 people.

Yarra Valley Wine Tasting Tours Terms

Terms & Conditions Cancellation Policy:

1. Within 24 hours of tour date – 100% cancellation fee.
2. Within 48 hours of tour date – 50% cancellation fee.
3. Cancellations or changes to numbers must be received in writing / email as early as possible and no later than 48 hours before the tour date.

Small Groups (5 or more people):

For a person booking a group of people on a wine tour, you must advise us in advance us of any changes to your numbers going on the tour as the above cancellation policy conditions will apply. e.g. If you book for 5 people, you pay for 5 people, if you booking for 7 people, you pay for 7 people etc. unless you advise us of a change to your numbers in advance. We want to give you maximum flexibility for possible changes to your numbers but retain the right to sell any unwanted seats at least 7 days prior to the tour.

Payment is collected on the tour date by the driver / guide. You can choose to pay by cash, eftpos or credit card (Visa, MasterCard. No AMEX).
